October is Baby Loss Awareness Month and so I am taking part in the Carly Marie, Capture Your Grief Project.
Essentially you take a picture a day based around a theme…
Day 1 Sunrise
A picture of a local beautiful sunrise taken back last October to start off the month of pictures!
Day 2 Heart
Something that fills my heart with love and joy? The Husband & The Lamb 💗
Day 3 Before
Me and the husband way back when. Before any weddings or babies or responsibility. Completely innocent of true pain and struggles, just living in the moment…
Day 4 Now
A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following the loss of a child.
In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.
The storm (child loss) has already happened and nothing can change that experience. Storm-clouds might still be overhead as the family continue to cope with the loss, but something colourful and bright has emerged from the darkness and misery.
